Google has added a new feature to the app that allows users to send a request to the company to remove personal data from search results. It was previously announced at the Google I/O 2022 spring conference.
Everything works through the Google mobile application on Android. To do this, you need to click on the profile avatar in the upper right corner, then select the “Results about you” item in the menu. After that, the user will be redirected to a page with help information and the order of sending requests.

If something from the presented needs to be deleted, you should simply click on the menu in the upper corner of a specific result and select the appropriate item. The entire process can be tracked in that section. To do this, you need to apply the “In Process” or “Deleted” filters.
Company representatives also note that removing information about yourself from Google does not mean removing it from the Internet. To do the second, you need to contact the site administration directly.
Since the feature is in the testing stage, it is available only to some users in Europe and the USA. And those who haven’t got access to it yet can send a removal request from the support page.
