Two eaglets were born in the very heart of a large cliff… Thus begins a story that leads us along the path of knowing the wild nature of the mountains. Thanks to heightened senses, the golden eagle can outwit marmots, chamois and mountain goats, resist its own kind, win skirmishes with rivals and survive in the winter. But here a bird of prey almost 3 meters wide flies over the valley – a bearded vulture – and intends to settle here. How will this bone-breaker divide the territory of the golden eagle? This film, which was shot over the course of seven years, tells about the life of the “kings of the sky”. It takes us on an epic aerial journey, backed by the majestic wilderness of the Alps.
