Babushkin and Fable will become freelance employees of the Investigative Committee and, using their criminal connections, together with Babushkin’s granddaughter Polina, they will begin to look for criminals who have committed a real “robbery of the century” – thieves, using an old underground passage of the 18th century, dug a tunnel, opened the floor of a large bank vault and robbed safes clients. Babushkin’s son, Khristoforov, invites his father to consult on the robbery case. He has no idea who did it. A nugget appeared that outdid “Brilliant” and set a record for the autopsy.
